Technical Data Sheet JNT411B60 Aerospace Sealant Scraper Smoothing Tool

The Celcon® scraper has a convenient 0.75 Inch (19.05mm) working area and is used to scrape sealant off from areas requiring rework or tidy-up. Such areas will include the exterior pressurised fuselage skin: Lap Joints, Butt Joints, etc. This useful tool is also used to scrape sealant off areas requiring rework or tidy-up materials. All other areas (i.e. antenna cutouts, wing to body fairings, around window forgings, etc). For user comfort, the scraper side edges have been smoothed off. Designed with a double angle tip with rounded end for holding comfort. A hanging-hole, at the handle end, ensures the scraper can be stored away when not in use.

The scraper is red to assist in FOD needs. Supplied in sealed packs with batch codes.

Boeing approved scrapers are made of quality red Celcon plastic. Designed with a double angle tip with rounded end for holding comfort. Celcon was selected by Boeing to avoid scoring and scratching Alclad surfaces. Celcon is also a more chemically resistant plastic when working with solvents.
