Cyanoacrylate Adhesives Technical Data Sheet 2026
Adhesives, activators, primers and support products Product type Customer use Selection guidance Cyanoacrylate adhesives Single-part instant bonding adhesive range for plastics,
Select viscosity according to joint fi t: very low viscosity for wicking and close- fi tting parts; medium viscosity for general purpose assembly; high viscosity or gel for larger gaps and vertical applications. Apply as directed to one surface or over exposed adhesive where required. Validate on production substrates before full use. Use where unprimed adhesive performance is not su Ư icient. Allow primer to dry before applying adhesive unless the product instructions state otherwise. Use carefully on cured adhesive only after checking compatibility with the substrate. Match dispensing equipment to viscosity, dot size, repeatability and production volume requirements.
rubbers, metals, porous materials and component assembly.
Activator
Used to accelerate cure and help bonding on di Ư icult substrates or where rapid handling strength is required. Used to improve adhesion to low-energy or di Ư icult-to bond surfaces prior to applying cyanoacrylate adhesive. Used to remove cured cyanoacrylate adhesive where it is not required. Used for controlled application of low to high viscosity liquids, gels, primers and activators.

Selection guide • Very low viscosity / wicking: GB20, GB4393 and GB4308 are suited to close fi tting parts and capillary penetration. • General purpose low to medium viscosity: GB06, GB95, GB01 and GB4360 are suited to everyday assembly where controlled fl ow and fast handling are required. • Higher viscosity and gap fi ll: GB16, GB4371, GB4303, GB4398 and GB44 are suited to larger gaps, vertical surfaces or applications requiring reduced run-o Ư . • Low odour / low bloom: GB4308, GB4360 and GB4303 are preferred where appearance, cosmetic fi nish or odour control is important. • Rubber toughened: GB4396 and GB80 are suited to applications requiring improved toughness, impact resistance or rubber/metal bonding. • High temperature / wire tacking: GB4344 and GB4398 are intended for wire tacking and higher temperature requirements.
