Two component cartridge packaging  ‐ Techkits

Techkit Cartridge Mix and Dispensing System The Techkit is a compact and simple method of packaging two or three component resin systems into a 2 1/2, 6, 8, 12, 20 ounce or 1/10 gallon car ‐ tridge. The kit mechanically separates the base and hardener un Ɵ l they are ready to be used. An internal mixing head provides a thorough blend for all types of compounds. When the mixing is fi nished, the cartridge is placed into one of our applicator guns. When the job has been completed, the package is disposed of: no clean up or physical contact with the resin. Cost savings are achieved by reducing labour and material waste. Reliability is increased with accurate compound ra Ɵ os, complete mixing and proper applica Ɵ on techniques. Three types of kits are available: Barrier, Injec Ɵ on and Barrier/Injec Ɵ on types.

Barrier Type For compounds with a volumetric ra Ɵ o greater than 10 parts per 100.The catalyst and base are separated by an aluminium barrier formed over the mixing head. Injec Ɵ on Type For compounds with a volumetric ra Ɵ o of 10 parts or less per 100. The catalyst is contained inside the valved mixing rod while the base is in the cartridge. Barrier / Injec Ɵ on Type For three component compounds, components of both Injec Ɵ on and Barrier are combined.
