Technical Information

This part is a 12oz (360cc) cartridge retainer that fits to an air cap (part 918-001-004). The air cap ensures a safe and tight connection. An airline hose connects to the air cap to pressurise the system up to 100 psi. This allows material to be fed under pressure to any dispensing valve.

Use this retainer with 12oz HDPE cartridges (part TS120C) and standard air cap (918-001-004). These aluminium parts will allow the use of 12oz cartridges as a safe and reliable reservoir for feeding adhesives, pastes, gels, solvents and lubricants to any dispense valve.

Packaging

Instructions

The retainer is supplied in sealed packaging with full assembly instructions.

1. Insert a 12oz cartridge (TS120C) into the retainer. 2. Attach the air cap (918-001-004) to the adapter – push and twist in place. 3. Attach airline hose quick connect to the cap. Push and lock in place. Ensure other end of airline hose is attached to a regulated air supply up to 100 psi. 4. Increase air pressure to allow flow. Cartridge can be connected to a dispense valve by use of our fittings and fluid lines.

Health & Safety in Use

The retainer is safe to use and simple to install, reducing risk of operators coming into contact with adhesives and chemicals placed inside. It is safe for use up to 100 psi. For a filter with adjustable regulator and gauge for controlled air flow, please use our TSD800-6FR. This retainer will accept all prefilled 360cc sealant and silicone caulking tubes.
