Product Descrip Ɵ on 30T-2A is a rubber wiper piston for use with 30cc air-powered type dispensing barrels. With a slight tapered front design for an improved material fl ow, dual edge wiper blades to avoid material waste and recess top to receive compressed air or rod. Pistons are available as standard or lightly coated with a medical grade lubricant to ease inser Ɵ on or fl ow. Do not use the lubricated version with sensi Ɵ ve adhesives. Typical Applica Ɵ ons Suitable for use with most liquids, gels, pastes, adhesives, lubricants, solder pastes and braze pastes. Not suitable for reac Ɵ ve adhesives such as Cyanoacrylates as there is a strong possibility of the rubber s Ɵ cking. Aggressive solvents are not suitable for these pistons. Use plas Ɵ c Polyethylene material wiper pistons for solvents.

Direc Ɵ ons For Use The 30cc size syringe barrel is fi lled with material, the rubber piston is pushed into the top of the barrel and onto the level of the liquid or paste. Use a thin gauge strip pushed into the barrel inner wall before the piston is inserted should this aid the inser Ɵ on. Remove the trip once inserted. Alterna Ɵ vely, some barrels are fi lled from the luer lock Ɵ p end, o Ō en called bo Ʃ om fi lling. For this, take an empty 30cc barrel and push the rubber piston down to the bo Ʃ om with around a 1mm gap. Once material is forced into the barrel, the piston will move up as it fi lls. No air gap. When dispensing with this product, air pressure will force the piston down the barrel wiping the inner barrel walls. Avoid an air gap between the piston and the material level as air build up will cause materials to ooze or drip in use. Storage These products require no special storage. They are supplied in sealed packs to keep them dust free before use.
